I have a confession to make: this jacket is one of those items that I love so much, I felt the impulse not to share it. The little girl in me wanted it to be mine, all mine! That being said, my fiduciary duty to you, LE CATCH faithful, is to share all my secrets. Having said that, and as long as we are on this sharing topic, I have a special request. A frighteningly large number of you have told me you love LE CATCH so much, that you feel a similar impulse not to share it with others (lest they get in on your fashion secret weapon)! Okay, enough with the public service announcement. Back to the jacket. My sister actually bought this leather-sleeved Zara jacket in New York last week. According to the sales clerk that helped her, the jacket has been selling out as soon as it hits the floor, with people calling in to put them on hold. The demand is understandable, what with the gold hardware, cinched waist and leather sleeves. I got lucky and scored mine two days ago at the Grove in LA (there were only two left on the racks). I've been waiting for the jacket to come up on Zara's website, and it finally did TODAY. If you're interested, now's the time to pounce. And don't forget to share!

while this jacket is super cool, if you look at the tags, it can't be washed or dry cleaned! i bought it, took it to my cleaners first and they said no way. and if you had it cleaned by a leather cleaner, after 2 times it would cost more then the coat did. what is zara thinking? sadly i am returning it.
Sorry about that - I did not notice that was the case. I would love to know if there is an affordable way to clean it - I am wearing mine so much, it is definitely going to need a cleaning at some point!
I ended up purchasing the Safari Jacket with Leather Sleeves - a different collar and hardware, but at least available in my size!
Missed your 'wear it with...' on this one. Got it on the Zara Uk website, arrived today, but find it a bit long to wear with jeans. Wear it with a dress like on the Zara site? It's a beauty though. Mx
So smart of you to get it on the Zara UK site! I've been wearing my jacket with everything from black cropped jeans (perhaps a cropped jean will offset the length of the jacket for you?) to an above the knee dress. Could even work with shorts! It's a keeper...
