Come next fall bigger will be better. You can expect to see loads of oversized jackets, such as the motorcycle jacket from Balmain, above, along with cocoon-like sweaters, coats and wide, billowy pants. I am getting a jump start on this one, with this summer-light oversized white cotton jacket from Topshop. I am figuring I'll wear it now and well into fall, since I'll be able to layer at least two sweaters underneath it.

Unknown said...: Perfect! Oversized is the best- it allows you to play with layering in such fun ways. I always feel like ankle booties look great with oversized tops and tight bottoms - perfect balancing.
