Chloe's studded ankle boots (and their less expensive kin) might be having their moment in the sun right now, but come this fall, Isabel Marant's Blackson boots will be IT. (They're $1325 and not available for purchase yet.) Bet on seeing them on high-fashion girls like Taylor Tomasi Hill. Zara took inspiration and offers this pair and Nine West are coming out with these.

Somehow Isabel's version doesn't feel overly western or costume-y, which I love. I wouldn't have made the connection to the iconic Chloe boot but it's right on. I like this boot better with skirts and dresses and the sister pump with cropped, skinny-loose jeans (as shown on the IM runway).

AH THE MOMENT I SAW THESE I REMEMBERED THE ZARA PAIR. I LOVE HOW ISABEL PLAYS WITH THE LESS FENIMINE STYLE AND MAKES THEM AS FEMININE AS THAT CAN BE. I AM TOTALLY OBSESSED WITH HER WORK LATELY.
