If you haven't given over to the leather shorts phenomenon, you might want to reconsider. Now. For one thing, shorts will be inescapable this spring (i.e., they were on practically every designer runway). Plus, shorts are getting longer and baggier, which means they're easier to wear and style--and you can pull them off now, with a pair of tights. My current faves on the racks include Alexander Wang, Rebecca Taylor (on sale!), Topshop and Porter Grey (on sale!)

I love this spotlight on shorts, especially being honest about their wearability (or lack thereof) when they are way, way too short and tween-y.
That said, I haven't seen anyone pull them off with tights and not look a little too punk/hipster-y at work. Any suggestions?
I want to pull this look of so bad, but I'm 42 years old. Suggestions would be great. Also, wear to buy!

I love the Porter Grey shorts! They do so many cute things with leather - you should actually check out some of their leather skirts & dresses, I think you'd rock 'em!!
