I love it, too (it's the native New Yorker in me, I guess!), especially paired with a sharp pencil skirt, or a great pair of tailored pants. The white version is already long gone, but black is just as cute (and besides, black is the new black next fall!). Get 'em here. (b) The hot boite du jour is Acme. I had the pleasure of dining there with various fashionista types last Thursday night and particularly enjoyed the whole grains with foraged mushrooms and the salt-baked carrots. The drinks were pretty delicious, too. (c) The Nomad Hotel has a fabulously serene library room, which is a perfect place to meet for a drink and have a good in-depth conversation. And finally, (d) even when your twin sister tells you to wear snow boots to fashion week shows during a blizzard because that's what the locals do and anyone who doesn't will look out of place, don't follow her directions, because she's wrong, and you will be the only one wearing snow boots.

haha, thats amazing! who knows maybe you will start a new trend for future snowy fashion weeks
I am sure you still looked impossibly chic in those snow boots! I can only imagine the hordes of girls who saw you are now running out to buy snow boots :)
That's funny!
I think I like black t-shirt better, but it is not available. :(
LOL re the snow boots comment
The Philip Lim t-shirt is completely sold out :(
I found another source for the Phillip Lim. I updated the link above, or you can go to this link here:

Thanks Marlien, you rock. Now I just have to track down that white one somehow!
I'm a HUGE Lim fan, so any time you feature his looks it's always a treat for me. Thanks for going the extra mile for your faithful readers! It was great to see how you NYFW attendees managed to cope with the weather. Nearly anyone can look good if it's 70 degrees and sunny outside. You guys really had to work to confront the elements and remain stylish. It was a great exercise in creativity, which I think is what real style is all about.
The boot comment made me laugh out loud. I am sure you looked great!
I really love it! I'm a proud Philip Lim fan! :D
