While logging some beach time over the last few weekends, I've been thinking about my summer hat strategy. For a while, I've been working the requisite straw fedora, like everyone else, but I'm noticing that style changes are afoot: hat brims are either shorter (of the porkpie/trilby variety) or longer (akin to a floppy hat) than seasons past. Which direction to go in? I'm thinking both, as it never hurts to have options. I've edited down my selects to these short-brimmers from Eugenia Kim and Bop Basics to these ultra shaders by Melissa Odabash and J.Crew.

Here's the hat http://bit.ly/YMGt6s (sold out!) and the blog the pic is from http://bit.ly/13zqgDl --she has a link to a store (not US) that sells the suit
I'm into the Auatralian outback hats and the Indiana jones type hats right now. Just wish they came in summer materials like straw, instead of wool and leather.
Hello I cannot find the link for the bathers. Would love to know exactly where they are from. Could you please provide the source? thank you
