My four-year old niece has recently discovered the joys of pink. She wants pink napkins at dinner, her pink bathing suit for swim lessons, and my sister's vintage pink tulle dress when she grows up. She takes her pink crayons everywhere, along with her little pink purse of pink hair ties, and also has lately taken to gathering every pink household item for safe keeping in her room: her latest find--her mother's two-pound pink dumbbells. Pink is indisputably feminine, pretty and girly, and thus, she (and all of us girls who like pink) have good reason to be excited about some of this season's pastel coat offerings, including the rose RED Valentino coat, above (25% off at Shopbop with the code INTHEFAMILY25). Check out these pinkalicious (and macaron-hued) lovelies from French Connection, Carven, Topshop and Club Monaco (also 25% off!).

Aww your niece sounds cute! Is it weird that I'm as obsessed with pink as a four year old? :). I love these pastel pieces-pastel is timeless and great all year round, as far as I'm concerned!
Who makes the pink jacket in the top photo?
