Fall and plaid have always gone together like bread and butter, but not this year. Instead, the windowpane print is making a big (and fresh) statement, most notably at Paris Fashion Week. The graphic pattern is bold and modern and just about as versatile as beloved stripes. I'd like to do my checks and balances with this striking Pim & Larkin sweater, this office-ready Theory blouse, this edgy feminine 3.1 Phillip Lim dress, this Warehouse funnel neck jumper (similar to the one below) and this Chloe dress (as worn by Olivia Palermo, below) or this similar-looking but less expensive French Connection or Ali Ro.

Love seeing Irina Lakicevic and Hedvig Opshaug and other Scandi beauties on your pages! Oh and may just have bought a pair of Madewell flat sandals...
Would like to thank you for expert fashion advice - you get the balance between style and wearability just right!
