Among the first designers to kick off New York Fashion Week, Frame Denim provided a glimpse into our blue jean future with its very retro-looking Fall 2015 collection, pictured here. There were '70s-inspired high waists, flared legs, classic indigo washes, along with relaxed fits, and both super long and cropped-just-above-the ankle lengths. If you want to get a jump start on these fresh silhouettes, try these jeans by Madewell, Point Sur (almost sold out!), Stella McCartney (also in this wash), MiH, Diane Von Furstenberg, Current/Elliott and Joe's Jeans.

who makes the first pair of jeans?...those are brilliant.
Yes, amazing! All the jeans pictured are by Frame Denim.
Love this look, especially the Frame Denim ones.
Do you have any suggestions for shorter girls? I am 5'3" and wear 24-25's but find that flare bottom jeans are just waaaay too long and to shortened them the flare is effectively eliminated and they look more like bootcut jeans. I just tried on and LOVE a pair of mid rise flare jeans at Mango but alas too long. Thanks in advance!
