It's been decided: wide-leg pants will be my staple this spring. They will be slightly slouchy, not sloppy. They will take me from work meetings to drinks with friends. They will go with everything from easy, casual t-shirts and light knits (love the sleek monotone look, above) to fancy, formal tops. And they will be gloriously comfortable. Since this 70s-spirited wide-leg silhouette is a big spring trend, there are a bazillion options to choose from. I narrowed it down to these by DKNY, Vince, Milly, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Asos. The pants, pictured above, are by Ryu Ryu.

Marlien, do you think this is a look that petite girls (5'3") can carry off? Or should we avoid wide-leg pants altogether? Thanks!
With a heel, wide leg pants will make your legs look longer, so go for it!
Marlien,
Catching up on older posts. I love this look, but what is the ideal hem length for these pants? Some of the photos (like the Ryu Ryu) make the pants look too long, especially for shorter girls (5'4" here!). I would hate to trip on the hem...
Thank you!
