I have looked everywhere for a sandal like this, single strap across foot, but with a moderate block heel and no ankle strap. Something casual to add height when wearing flowy shorts, casual dresses, wide legged linen pants, etc. I had a pair of medium brown
suede in the 90's. Wish I still had them :-) should do well with the retro 60's and 70's look, I'd think. Most of my sandals have ankle straps and I'm rather tired of them.
