Last weekend my husband and I ventured to Sonoma County, where we glamped in a decked-out Airstream, trekked in a Redwood forest, dipped our toes in the Russian River, and sipped lots (and lots) of fine wine. The variable weather--toasty days, chilly nights--called for a carry-on packed with everything from a bikini to a down jacket! Somehow, I managed to get it all right, starting with the Doen dress, above, which I wore, post-forest hike to lunch at Stumptown, plus these perfectly stretchy, day-to-night Mother jeans, this floral winery-worthy H&M blouse, and these ready-for-action Isabel Marant sneakers. Other standout pieces suitable for Sonoma: this one-shouldered Ulla Johnson top, this cozy Vanessa Bruno (throw it over everything) cardigan, and this made-for-layering army jacket by The Great.
