I had my first dinner out at Nobu in Malibu in months last night--and the scene was quintessentially Nobu in Malibu: Cindy Crawford held court on the seaside deck, people glumly waited for a table, and paparazzi parked outside. Not only did I relish the baked crab rolls and artichoke salad, but also catching up with my girl friends, who shared a few tasty nuggets with me, like the provenance of the cute (Bottega-like) clutch for $34, below, (thank you, Molly!), the miracle-working, skin-transforming power of Sarah Chapman's overnight facial (here too), must-read books (The Vanishing Half, The Guest List, The End of Her) and the outfit-making $40 chain-link necklace, above.
