I joke with my friends that I do pleasure with business. However, I'm not really joking! It is true, and such a luxury that I can do what I love: posting Le Catch five days a week and working with designers and friends. My latest collaboration combines my happy place, The Kaimana Beach Hotel in Honolulu, with my happy-making, creative friends at Clare V. We whipped up a cute Hawaiian-inspired print tote, which literally lets me carry Aloha spirit everywhere, along with an equally vibrant pareo. Both are limited edition and exclusively available on Instagram Checkout!
Designer Mary Kratanzou's collaboration with Aqua Bloomingdales last year, above, prompted me to start looking at the collection from time to time, and right now, there's a plethora of greatness, all around $100 (!), including this floral puff-sleeve dress, below, this knit midi, last pic, these stripes and ruffles, and this cut-out halter.
I can just see myself sitting down at some sceney seaside restaurant this summer and spotting these never-been-seen-before Louis Vuitton sandals on a woman at the table next to me--and coveting them! Wanting to ask if the sandals are current or past season and not having the guts to do so. So I am going to save myself from this future triggering situation and splurge on them for myself. My inner peace has already thanked me. ;)
A friend of mine texted me the other morning, cryptically pleading, "I need your help." Concerned, I immediately replied back, asking if she was okay. Turned out she needed my help finding her some versatile clothes to take to Europe this summer! Phew! I'm coming to the rescue with these (under $200!) options pictured here: the striped mini, above, the linen jumpsuit, below, the crochet halter, the braided trim denim midi and Ulla-ish print dress. All of these looks are day-to-night wearable. I'd throw on a slightly oversized white blazer (this or this) with each of these looks to dress them up. I'd also pack these highly-functional styles from Vince, Alex Mill, Staud, Ann Taylor, and Natalie Martin.

I must confess that a summer pant doesn't roll off my tongue quite as naturally as a summer dress, but I know once I have the right pair, I will be a fluent wearer. I might even buy more than one! And I won't be alone. Parisian Leia Sfez, above, is inspiring me with her pleated trousers by Loulou Studio, while Kaia Gerber, below, is running around in The Reformation, which is making them in SEVEN different colors! Meanwhile, over in Europe, The Frankie Shop trousers (under $200), second to last snap below, are taking over the streets. Anouk Yve sports a super versatile pair by Cos (last pic). I also love these by Veronica Beard .
Lately my closet has been operating more like a downtown hot spot, with friends feverishly booking times to come in--and borrow a dress (or three!). What's most in demand: my inexpensive, ready-to-go daytime frocks. Which means I need more for the common good! So far, here's what I've found to pad my wardrobe: this Love the Label, above, (and this one too!), the striped Farm Rio, below, this floral Mille, Charlie Holiday, this slinky Zara, and this billowy Sundress. Shop more options here!
This summer, crochet will be taking the crown, and I'm all for this trend--as long as it's not crazy expensive (hello, Chloe and Bottega Veneta!). I'm leaning into all iterations Anna Kosturova, above, because the shapes and shades are cute and the price tags, just right! I specifically adore the striped minidress, pictured, and this colorful floral, this super versatile cover-up and this beach-to-street midi.

I am not sure how Longchamp's Le Pliage Filet bag slipped under my radar for a whole year, but now at least I have this $110 must-tote in my mitts--and already pondering another! Introduced last May, these iconic French market bags, trimmed with Longchamp's chic leather handles, come in a rainbow of colors this season--and they're all so desirable! I love the classic white, above, but, also the pink and turquoise! Check out all the options here and here. They also come in a smaller cross-body size!
Creative director Jen Azoulay weathered last week's LA's heat wave in Sea's super cute crochet halter neck top, above. Lucky for us we can snap it up for less today, along with tons of new hot and sunny styles, thanks to Shopbop's just-launched Style Event. (Read: up to 25% off!) On my wishlist: this pretty floral Sea dress, this flattering Staud, this striped Ulla Johnson, these wear-with-everything Loeffler Randall sandals, this Young, Fabulous and Broke long-sleeve dress, and this LastFrame market bag. Naturally, I'm adapting to my environment with some resplendent blooms of my own, thanks to this new Zimmermann blouse I foraged from Farfetch--A.K.A. the Garden of (shopping) Eden, flourishing with the most-coveted pieces curated from cool boutiques all over the world. Hawaii doesn't typically call for dressing up but the last few days celebrating my friend's milestone birthday warranted a parade of festive frocks! Hence my printastic La Double J, above, which lit up The Outrigger Canoe Club, the slinky cut-out Cult Gaia and mini striped shirt dress by Jen's Pirate Booty, below. I also packed this much-lauded ASTR The Label dress (for $148!), pleated Zara, this beach-to-street Cleobella, and this floral midi AFRM.
New York-based Sun Jang is weathering spring in the cutest lightweight knits--that even fly in steamy St. Barth's and Miami! Now those are some high-performing knits I need! The striped crochet short-sleeve cardigan, above, is from My Beachy Side, and the cashmere matching set, below, is by Demylee. Also cool-looking over a swimsuit: this H&M dress, this oversized Zara polo (last pic), this fringed And Other Stories, this Cos skirt, and this striped Monrow.
