I have a weird, preternatural tendency to convert all kinds of clothing into beach-ready cover-ups. Chalk it up to my 24/7 proximity to the ocean--or just my penchant for creative styling. Actually, I just think all clothes deserve a day in the sun! Hence my current fondness for lightweight midi skirts such as this (LOVE!) and this that go from sea to street or eyelet dresses (I took the lining out of the H&M, below, to effect sheer and summery).
