Tom Ford once said, "Dressing well is a form of good manners." I concur--but would clarify there's no need to actually dress up. The "lazy girl" aesthetic that's currently all the rage--carpet-bombing Instagram, Zara, high-end designer runways (my current favorite is Valentino's Resort 2024 collection)--backs up my belief. That is we can look effortless while still very much look like we tried. It's low-maintenance yet highly stylish. Danish model and art director Clara Dyrhauge finesses laid-back chic like no other, relying on pared-down silhouettes, pictured below such as the perfectly-fitting Skall Studio white t-shirt and embroidered blouse, pointy-toe Aeyde slingbacks, ATP Atelier sandals (on sale!), cashmere La Ligne crew-necks, tailored trousers, plus a wear-with-everything trench coat and relaxed-cut jeans (here and here).
