I was so bummed to miss J.Crew's party at the New York Public Library last Thursday night, when it resurrected my favorite childhood restaurant La Cote Basque. My sister attended without me (wearing my dress!) but indulged in the petite baguettes and caviar for me. At least I can take solace in sporting one of the night's main stars: the long barn jacket!
