Lauren Santo Domingo, above, put it perfectly on her IG Story this morning: “Happy 2 weeks a year you can wear your lightweight coat to all those who celebrate.” And celebrate I do. Religiously. But in LA? I get more than two weeks—I get April, May (Gray) and June (Gloom). These in-between coats are my favorite kind of fashion loophole: they're polished enough to pass as outerwear, bold enough to be worn solo (yes, nothing underneath—liberating, no?), and perfect for playing the spring layering game.
