"I couldn't take it anymore," my sister admitted to me over the phone while scurrying down Broadway, back to her Tribeca apartment. "I had to buy one." My older sister moved to Paris a year ago, and pretty much every day since then, I wake up to texts from her, teeming with FOMO-triggering snapshots. Think selfies at the Louvre, lunch at L'Avenue, and weekend getaways at Chateau La Coste. A recent one featured a drop-in at Sezanne in the Marais. While bracing for what's forecasted to be one of the coldest storms in years, praying my flight will make into Aspen on Thursday, studying various weather model predictions, and simultaneously reconciling with a soggy, stuck-in-LA weekend, I'm also examining how exactly the women of London, specifically those currently attending Fashion Week, endure long English winters with steadfast style.
