Spring's secret weapon is the khaki skirt, which, if executed properly, skews less preppy, more polished. I, for one, appreciate its unexpectedness, along with its hard-working versatility. J.Crew's Olympia Gayot wears it to perfection (find it here), but these from Vince, Zara, and Mango, are also amazing. P.S. I like the idea of this statement pleated trench--to update any outfit!
