If I've gleaned anything from looking at a zillion street style pictures over the last few days, it's that I need a pair of Khaite boots ASAP. Fashion show goers in New York, featured here, validate this new (albeit late-in-the-season) necessity, proving they work wonderfully with everything from mid-length skirts to flowy dresses. It's New York Fashion Week, and the city's most stylish are putting on the equivalent of a Broadway-like show with dramatically captivating outfits! Fortunately, for those of us in the audience, we can partake in the performance, starting with Lisa Aiken's oversized Khaite jacket and AGOLDE jeans, above, Lauren Santo Domingo's flared-sleeve A.W.A.K.E. Mode blouse, and Tylynn Nguyen's Khaite leather jacket, below. Also notable: the ubiquitous Toteme shearling jacket (also in this gorgeous shade) and these perfectly-cut high-rise Re/Done white jeans.

I'll admit it: I was questioning whether I needed all five pieces in my H&M shopping cart this morning. Then I quickly reasoned: YES! They're all impeccable scores, from the ballet flats, above, to the striped denim skirt, below. I also snapped up this oxford, this tweed jacket, and this insanely good leather bomber.

Copenhagen Fashion Week presented slip dresses over pants, bolts of red, and oversized silhouettes on its Fall 2023 runways, but it was the extra large leather jackets springing up on the streets that intrigued me most. Both the bomber and motorcycle silhouettes were out in full force, and, thankfully for us, available in abundance to wear now and, most definitely, next winter.

It had been a while since I've seen my twin sis (approximately 53 days!) but we finally reunited last night and, thankfully, not much had changed between us, except that she acquired this new $49 epic jacket. So, I remedied that this morning and now I own it, too. From here on out, she will have to catch up with me with this, this and this!

Of all the shows and street style pics I saw from Fashion Week in Copenhagen, the ones of model Sara Flaaen stood out most, because her style is not only distinctly cool but cold-proof. Her mainstays: boldly in statement jackets and knits.
