Copenhagen Fashion Week presented slip dresses over pants, bolts of red, and oversized silhouettes on its Fall 2023 runways, but it was the extra large leather jackets springing up on the streets that intrigued me most. Both the bomber and motorcycle silhouettes were out in full force, and, thankfully for us, available in abundance to wear now and, most definitely, next winter.

It had been a while since I've seen my twin sis (approximately 53 days!) but we finally reunited last night and, thankfully, not much had changed between us, except that she acquired this new $49 epic jacket. So, I remedied that this morning and now I own it, too. From here on out, she will have to catch up with me with this, this and this!

Of all the shows and street style pics I saw from Fashion Week in Copenhagen, the ones of model Sara Flaaen stood out most, because her style is not only distinctly cool but cold-proof. Her mainstays: boldly in statement jackets and knits.

Somehow helping a friend prep for a future surf trip to Costa Rica yielded a bounty of new swimsuits for me. Go figure! When I recommended the Devon Windsor cut-out strapless one-piece, above, I had to get one for myself, and then it went on from there... the Inner Relm mushroom print bikini, below, the Oceana color-block suit, the GAP denim dress, and the Majorelle crochet cover-up!

When I tell you that my friend JJ Martin, the founder of La Double J, shines as bright (if not more so!) as her line's vivid maximalist prints, I am not exaggerating. She truly buzzes with radiance and joy. And, suitably, so do her new spring shoes, brandishing flashy metallics and electric florals. I am sure they will punch up my spring and summer outfits--and then some. Only thing is I just can't decide which ones I like best! Find them all here!

Amanda Alagem's Instagram Story, above, vanished after a mere 24 hours, but the clip is forever ingrained in my mind. That's because it inspired me to buy her Jil Sander dress in the blink of an eye--and now I will wear it till the end of time. It's truly gorgeous--and hooray, on sale! The Harper's Bazaar editor also prompted me to pull out my Jenna Blake leather-strap heart necklace this morning, pictured below, and start contemplating Carolina Bucci's colorful beads and Marlo Laz's gold, diamond and sapphire necklaces for future days.

Farm Rio's reigning monopoly on bright and sunny prints has me yearning for some in my own (soon-to-debut) warm weather wardrobe. Thankfully, I can get instant gratification in every which way, from a halter swimsuit that doubles as a top (with a skirt or denim shorts!) to leopard-print mini to a cut-out midi to a slinky slip dress.
