micro trend
Friday, June 10
If you're wondering what to pack for Europe this summer, just make it short. As in micro! I'm talking the mini-est mini dresses and skirts you can get away with. Because that's how the most stylish are rolling over there right now, revealing legs for days. I'd like to get in on the action with these wee wonders from Magda Butrym (below), And Other Stories, Emilia Wickstead, Anine Bing, Chufy, Cara Cara, and Valentino (second to last pic).
traveling pants
Thursday, June 9
One of the most fashion-y people I know, a super famous stylist responsible for the best-dressed red carpet looks, invited me to dinner on Tuesday night. The caveat: it was "not a fashion dinner," she emphatically declared in an email. Twice. Which meant: wear whatever you want. It definitely made going out on Tuesday night easier. But it also made getting dressed a little harder, because I still wanted to look...good. Intuitively, I grabbed my new pair of new Isabel Marant khaki pants, pictured below on Sara Loura. They are polished yet casual--and, well, perfect for non-fashion dinners--and, as seen here, parading around Paris! I also could work these options from Mara Hoffman and Alex Mill.
short and suit
Wednesday, June 8
The shorts suit reaches its apogee this summer with the latest options offering a polished full look as well as thorough ease and comfort. (Notice: blazer not mandatory. Monochrome is key.) The ultimate mix of business and pleasure, in my book! My newest favorites come from Anine Bing (love and have!), The Frankie Shop, Mango, Veronica Beard (on sale), Rosie Assoulin (on sale), and J.Crew.
kule x west elm
Wednesday, June 8
Oh, hey! Did you see the just-launched Kule x West Elm collab? It's super cute, not surprisingly, featuring tons of stripes and smiles (not surprisingly!) that will perk up any room. I love the playroom to living room-friendly floor cushions and cheerful bath mats. P.S. Kule's newest stripes to sport are also very cool (below).
vilma
Tuesday, June 7
My Instagram friend Courtney Grow introduced me to Finnish mother and model (and avid tennis player!) Vilma Bergenheim--and her stylish penchant for relaxed, slightly oversized silhouettes, breezy neutrals, and classic stripes. She tends to pull all of this together with simple black leather flip flops (like these and these), proving that they really do go with everything and look polished, and Bottega Veneta's mini leather tote. I also appreciate her fondness for shorts, especially the linen ones, above, and the silk satin Vince, second pic below. And I'm inspired to throw into my summer rotation this super versatile Loulou Studio beige blazer, these cropped knit By Malene Birger pants, this oversized Reformation button down, and this striped La Ligne.

erewhon eyelets
Monday, June 6
You can find me shopping at Erewhon pretty much everyday--always with some new and yummy vegan, gluten-free or organic edibles in my basket. Yesterday, however, I left with something I can't actually ingest. While I was waiting on line to pay for my groceries, I noticed the above stunning blouse on a woman just ahead of me. I assumed it was Zimmermann, but asked her just to confirm. No, she replied. It's by Aqua and it costs $61. Of course, I bought it on the supermarket spot!
teed up
Monday, June 6
Seriously, I really did find the best-ever white t-shirt (pictured here). It's structured, boasts an ideal sleeve length, is 100% cotton-light--and it's $13. You're welcome.
