I must confess that a summer pant doesn't roll off my tongue quite as naturally as a summer dress, but I know once I have the right pair, I will be a fluent wearer. I might even buy more than one! And I won't be alone. Parisian Leia Sfez, above, is inspiring me with her pleated trousers by Loulou Studio, while Kaia Gerber, below, is running around in The Reformation, which is making them in SEVEN different colors! Meanwhile, over in Europe, The Frankie Shop trousers (under $200), second to last snap below, are taking over the streets. Anouk Yve sports a super versatile pair by Cos (last pic). Lately my closet has been operating more like a downtown hot spot, with friends feverishly booking times to come in--and borrow a dress (or three!). What's most in demand: my inexpensive, ready-to-go daytime frocks. Which means I need more for the common good! This summer, crochet will be taking the crown, and I'm all for this trend--as long as it's not crazy expensive (hello, Chloe and Bottega Veneta!). I'm leaning into all iterations Anna Kosturova, above, because the shapes and shades are cute and the price tags, just right! I specifically adore the striped minidress, pictured, and this colorful floral, this super versatile cover-up and this beach-to-street midi.

I am not sure how Longchamp's Le Pliage Filet bag slipped under my radar for a whole year, but now at least I have this $110 must-tote in my mitts--and already pondering another! Introduced last May, these iconic French market bags, trimmed with Longchamp's chic leather handles, come in a rainbow of colors this season--and they're all so desirable! For me, a maxi dress is the equivalent to sweats. You throw on and go...or stay. Either way you're comfy! It's also a refreshing counterpoint to this season's barely-there, cut-out dresses!
