In case you need some help navigating this season's printed pants trend, take a look at Selma Kaci's Instagram feed. The Paris-based creative director pulls it off printastically--and then some! Her strategy is anchored in go-big prints and mixing and matching, then grounding it all in norm-core sneakers and easy, relaxed silhouettes. I like! I'd like to take a cue from her play book with these patterns from The Reformation, Zara, One Teaspoon, Derek Lam 10 Crosby, Alaia, and Faithfull the Brand.

I'm not above pilfering the kids' department for a good find. Case in point: these fun mini Gucci bags, above and below, that are significantly less expensive than their adult counterparts!

These snaps convinced me I need a slim-fitting denim skirt, stat! One that hugs the curves more--read: sexier! Perfect for summer, and it's an easy, casual substitute for jeans or shorts, but will come off as more polished and pretty! I'm talking these by Jen7, Isabel Marant, Citizens of Humanity, Khaite, and Saint Laurent.

I love this cute, summer-ready combo of bulky gold and bright beaded necklaces--and managed to find a ready-to-go set from Maison Irem and H&M. Or you can just pile them on from Dannijo, Lisa Statt, Brinker and Eliza, and Sant Angelo. The amazing colorful beaded necklace, below, is by Carolina Bucci, but I think this one from Roxanne Assoulin will work just as well with my own pendants!

Serious statement skirts are taking over the streets this spring, and it's easy to see why: they simplify getting dressed. A good one carries an outfit, which is to say, you won't need much else.
