Considering how much I wear jeans, I suspect spring's must-have denim dress will soon be a huge player in my weekly rotation. In fact, I might even want to start subbing one in now.

My son's club volleyball tournaments are really starting to take a bite out of my weekends (you can find me in Anaheim this Saturday).

The burning question in LA is who doesn't want The Jenna Necklace? As in the mighty Jenna Blake-designed 18-karat gold-link necklace, above, that can be broken down (brilliantly) into two bracelets! As in the shock-and-awe piece that you can wear everyday for eternity! As in the ultimate Valentine's Day gift! (Bauble Bar took a swing at it with its brass version that's less chunky and less $.)

One of my twin sister's best friends is a New York City-based mega-stylist--a fashion icon to famous fashion icons. When she came over for dinner on Saturday night, armed with shopping bags full of new hand-picked clothes for herself and future photo shoots, my sister and I did what you'd expect: we shopped her bags! We scooped up this incredibly chic (vintage meets Dries-looking) Sandro blouse--a spring statement, she declared. We agreed, naturally. We also fell for this Zara knit crop top to wear over dresses, under cardigans (a la Khaite) and these $20 floral pants that are crazy cute with a white tee, grey sweatshirt, or an easy cashmere. (Make sure to size up. They run super small.) The shopping-bag shopping then prompted us to scout our collective wants and we landed on the amazing striped staple, above, by Silvia Tcherassi, this print H&M bucket hat, and, of course, spring's go-to Prada square-shaped sunglasses, below.

I've not given up yet... I'm still trying to execute on my new year's resolutions: take time for myself everyday, speak up even when I'm afraid to, and less procrastination/more action. In other words, wear the trousers in my life! And manifest this by actually wearing this season's must-have trousers: loose-fitting, high-waist, straight-leg, pleated Palazzo pants. In summary: super flattering. Exactly like these from Mango (above), Ganni, Topshop, The Row, and The Frankie Shop (faux leather/second to last pic).

I caught up with my closest girlfriends on Tuesday over a long, sweaty morning hike. We covered everything from vacation dramas (i.e., holiday travel hiccups, flu-stricken children, etc.) to post-holiday detox plans (no alcohol, plant-protein diets, etc). Somehow, this segued into our favorite new workout pants that will make us look and feel good. The hands-down favorite among us: Ultracor's leggings which boasts built-in shape wear that--no joke--lifts and flatters all the right places. It's like insta-liposuction--it's crazy! My friend sported this ankle-length star-pattern pair that made her look like she had just returned from We Care rather than Cabo guacamole! The zebra style, above, can be found on sale here. We also love to sweat in printastic styles like these by Outdoor Voices (I wore this pair on the hike!), Splits59, The Upside, and Spiritual Gangster.

Back to work in a business-ready blazer! The one, above, is newly acquired and so, so good, not only because of its chic braid-trimmed lapels, woven plaid fabric, indoor-to-outdoor versatility, and Chanel vibe, but its $35(!) price tag. (I promise you it looks way more expensive.) I scooped another cheap and cheerful jacket--fleece and fab with its pearl buttons (see it on me on my Instagram Stories. ) If I work really hard, maybe I could buy these equally excellent jackets by Kolor, Nanushka, Veronica Beard, and Proenza Schouler. one day!

Back at sea level and 70 degrees and I've contracted an early case of spring fever!
