The snap, above, best explains my recent lack of posts! I was off the grid, south of the border, in Cabo San Lucas, for the past several days, indulging in whale-spotting, snorkeling, margarita-drinking, and guacamole-eating. It was pretty perfect, I have to say, and the ease of throwing on and lounging around in flowy caftan-like robes was icing on the cake. (The one I'm wearing is by Rhode Resort.) I definitely would like to breeze around in more of these robes next time around (or even at home!), especially in these from Melissa Obadash, Topshop, House of Harlow, Free People, and Billabong.

Currently at Couture Week in Paris, bold, show-stopping cardigans are taking center stage. These toppers are so good they eclipse the underlying outfit, and since they do all the stylish heavy lifting, they make getting dressed blissfully easy. (Cardigans pictured are by Christian Dior.) I'll take one, please! Perhaps any of these by Ulla Johnson, Alanui, Topshop, Gucci J.Crew, and Cinq a Sept.

In case you're wondering how our stylish European sisters are weathering deep winter, just take a good look at these snaps. Evidently, they're all bundling up ever so chicly in cropped and cozy furry jackets--and I want to follow suit, especially because there are a bunch of them on sale from Acne Studios topper (immediately below) and Tory Burch (last pic, below). Other good ones come from La Vie Rebecca Taylor, Pixie Market, Blank Denim, Mango, MOS Edition, and J.Crew.

I bought a pair of sneakers last year that look very similar to the ones, above. My mother loved them and, as she is online shopping-phobic, asked me to buy her a pair. I promised I would but never did. And then--oops!--they sold out. Consequently, she gives me grief every time I wear them. But today I am redeeming myself by buying her a pair of these Gucci-esque looking Boden kicks. Finally, she will forgive me!

I'm still obsessed with The Row's bow-trimmed mules, above, and it seems so are other designers, as they're cranking out their own knotted versions for next spring, including these knockouts by Ancient Greek Sandals, Mango, Prada, and Rebecca Minkoff. Love them all!

The easiest way to pick out an Eastside-LA dwelling hipster is by her requisite flowy Doen dress. The cult LA-label has a lockdown on this breezy, bohemian, Silver Lake-cool look, and its just launched spring collection has me even more obsessed. I just snapped up the floaty floral frock, above. I'd also like to slip in to this romantic ruffled blouse, this cropped cardigan, and this flirty smocked dress. Check out the entire collection here.

This model looks exactly like my niece, which, of course, makes this dress completely up my (DNA) alley. What's more: it's sexy, flattering, and statement-y, all at $105! Might I add it's called the Gelina, which is also one of my favorite restaurants in LA. All of this adds up to one thing: it must be mine! Other compelling (and wallet-friendly) statements I'd also love to make mine: this Need twist skirt, this Farrow striped blouse, this Moon River tunic sweater, these J.Crew faux fur slides, these Shein embroidered shorts, and this bohemian Free People blouse.

At a lovely luncheon yesterday hosted by Netaporter for my friend/clothing designer Mary Alice Haney (see more pics here), I encountered some happy surprises. First, I bumped into a high school classmate with whom I played on the tennis team and haven't seen since; I discovered the luminous, universally flattering magic that is Olio E Osso lip/cheek balm, thanks to a friend; I learned that my new yet compact Eddie Borgo bag is big enough for a day's outing; and lastly that my old Saks Potts sweater can still dazzle a discerning crowd. (I threw it over this Haney dress that's now on sale.) Today the lunch keeps on giving as I came across this statement-making turquiose H&M dress, which looks very similar to the head-turning, way more expensive one my table mate was wearing yesterday. Made my Friday!

For the last few days, I've been battling a chest cold and binge-watching movies (I, Tonya; Lady Bird; The Shape of Water). In other words, I've been a couch potato. All I want now is to feel fit and healthy--and, of course, stylish while I'm at it. So, I've snapped up a few things that will up my game once I'm back on track, starting with the cute Beach Riot sports bra (above), which can double as a paddle boarding-ready bikini top. Other winning, feel-good pieces I'd like: this tie-front Live The Process top, these bandana print leggings by The Upside, this Alo sports bra, these lace-up Free People leggings, and these LNDR sweatpants.
