For me, the only appealing thing about fall's imminent chill is staving it off in this hand-knit Ganni sweater. It seems others can't even wait till official sweater weather hits as they're busting it out now in myriad vibrant hues. I'd like to get in early (before they're all gone) on this "it" sweater in wear with everything sky blue.

You know it's high summer when everyone shows up to a work meeting wearing some sort of toe-baring footwear. That was the case for me yesterday, and there were even rubber slides in the mix! I'd love to dip my tootsies into these comfy slides by Gucci, above, Vince (fall-worthy!), Opening Ceremony, and Adidas.

Aloha! Just back from Kauai, where I spent most of my time neck-deep in the ocean. Between all the swimming and snorkling, I scouted some swimsuit shops (because, duh, Hawaii is bikini mecca!) and returned home with three amazing new suits. Perhaps, not coincidentally, they're all by Frankies Bikinis, which specializes in the kind of splash-making details I appreciate, such as the crochet trim on the floral one-piece, above. French fashionistas didn't wait to bust out fall's must-have trench coat. They debuted this cool-weather layer back in July (!), as evidenced in the snaps taken during Couture Week. So, it's not at all too early for us to contemplate which one we might want to sport come fall. Just keep in mind that the roomier the fit, the chicer. This season's oversized trench has a masculine flair, and it's relaxed enough to throw over pretty much any outfit. I'm eyeing these from Asos, Hatch, H&M, A.W.A.K.E, Topshop (or this one), and Alexander Wang.

Mango's take on this season's puff sleeve blouse is extra stylish with its back scarf-tie. I'd wear it with everything from denim cut-offs to work-sharp trousers.

In my mind, floral-print dresses are as much a part of summer as sunscreen and sandy toes. But this fall is bringing in a bevy of blooms too--a trend I am eager to embrace!
