lace up
Thursday, August 15
In my summer wardrobe, there is more lace than linen. And I'm aiming to keep it in constant rotation throughout fall. I am already teaming my summer slinky with autumn's loose-ftting denim, with the Doen above and below for a more transitional look. I also love these lace lovelies from Sea, CAMI NYC, and Asos.

Wednesday, August 14
I'll let LA-based stylist Nicole Chavez not-so-gently remind you: summer is not over! And a good swimsuit might just extend your August state of mind. Hers are from Montce Swim, Hunza G, Zara, Same, etc.. Now's the time to get a suit on sale for endless summer, plus sunshine-ready clothing--everything just marked down by 20% off at Net-A-Porter.

inquiring minds want to know...
Tuesday, August 13
A stylish Italian friend stopped me on the beach the other day to ask where my lace cover-up was from. I felt lame replying, "H&M," as she was most likely anticipating a more exotic provenance, but it was the truth--and, at least, still available to shop! Another bonus: there's even more non-exotic but giddily affordable stuff today, including the embellished mini dress, below, the crochet Chan Luu wrap skirt, the fringed And Other Stories shacket, the ruffled Mango maxi, the backless Reformation dress, the Wyeth chore jacket and the Steve Madden lace slingbacks.
carry on!
Monday, August 12
Valitsaphobic is the fear of suitcases. But is there is a term for the fear of losing your luggage? Because I have it in spades! Hence, I am a carry-on only girl, and over the years, I've become an expert in stuffing as much as possible into it! I recently shared my strategy with the venerated travel guide Yolo Journal, specifically how I managed to cram 13 dresses and much more for hotel-hopping in Puglia. Read all about it here!

deep blues
Friday, August 9
Copenhagen Fashion Week has long been synonymous with clashing colors, but this time around, it's simply about the blues. Denim is front and center, straightforward and streamlined, in the form of crisp, deep indigo shorts, loose-fitting trouser-like jeans, and front-pocketed jean jackets. I'm jumping into this new Fall 2024 denim trend with these jeans from Tibi (pictured on Vogue Editor Madeline Fass, below), the ($55!) Carhartt denim jacket, immediately below, AGOLDE denim shorts and these The Frankie Shop Bermuda shorts. Here's a great edit of next season's must-have jeans!

kittens for sale
Thursday, August 8
My Birkenstock-wearing friend hates kitten heels. Which, to me, sounds like she hates puppies or something. I mean, what's not to like? They're sexy, comfortable, easy to walk in, plus yield the leg-lengthening, trouser-enhacing benefits of a high heel. And I am not the only one who's a devout fan. The infallibly stylish Moosgaard twins, above, just paraded their current go-to's yesterday in Copenhagen: the Aeyde pointy-toe ankle strap (also below) and the forever-classic Manolo Blahnik mule (more sizes here). I'd take these sleek shoes over a Birk any day! And I am sure I won't be alone.
