It's interesting what catches your eye when you're in TGIF-mode! It's definitely a flowy, easy-going dress for me, one that I can throw on and be ready for... you name it! Sun's out, swimsuits are on, and so are our cord pendant necklaces! Yes, it's that time of year to tie one on and layer it with sparkly, stay-on bling. Vogue concurs, BTW, endorsing ones in natural textures like rope, silk, or leather. In New York last week I celebrated the premiere of my father’s documentary at The Tribeca Film Festival with my family. I indulged in late-night pizza at Rubirosa and stayed out way past my bedtime at Zero Bond. Another highlight: I wore new summer dresses and skirts! After weeks and weeks of LA’s May Grey/June Gloom (read: sweater weather), I relished the sun on my skin–and breezing around in cool but also thoroughly unintimidating clothing. Of course, we can't live the resort-hopping life all the time, but at least we can look like we're ready to, right? I found some fodder for this future dream of mine with help from Johnny Was.
