A back-to-school online shopping spree with my kids this past week yielded a bounty of by-products for yours truly! Because they will enrich my style studies! From top to bottom: Unsubscribed's bubble top and skirt set to wear everywhere, Khaite's must-have chain-embellished slingback (poised to be ubiquitous at NYFW), the Chloe-oozing Sezane lace blouse and striped set, the cozy-chic Cos cardigan in the coolest blue hue, Demellier's (Hermes-like) shearling bag, Dear Frances mesh shoes (more flattering than the OG, A.K.A, The Row, and all the rage right now), and Zara's sexy slit skirt. Happy Weekend!

I don't know Barbara Santiago, pictured here, but we are of the same stripe! The Lisbon-based designer and I share a deep fondness for striped everything as well as lining them up with more stripes and other graphic prints. Like me, she sources the best ones from Kule, particularly the long-sleeve tees and the knits. However, she inspires me with her creative pairings such as the striped boxers (also these) with a billowy Doen blouse, below, or with more feminine maxi skirts (this slit Zara, this vegan leather Cinq a Sept, and the one, above). Lately, she's been mixing in neutral Alohas shoes for a more subdued fall look (see here), and I'm going to follow suit!
