Summers past have seen lots of LWD's (little white dresses), but this year calls for the same acronym but a below-the-knee hem length: A.K.A., the long white dress. The head-to-toe silhouette is clean, light and simply feminine. Added bonus: solar-proof! Taking a cue from our Australian counterparts currently whizzing through Fashion Week, I'm looking to slip into these light lovelies from (on crazy sale!), , , , , , , and .

This summer I'm going big on big dresses, and by big, I mean loaded with playful prints, eye-popping colors, and big-time twirling capabilities. Take the fun and statement-making (and one and done) dress, above, or these head-turners by , (on sale!), , , , and .

Fact: this season's trendy high-waist bikini provides more coverage. Consequently, my theory is to wear this suit with less of a cover-up. (Evidently, others seem agree with me, above and below!) This new kind of summer staple reveals your suit but still conceals the whole schebang--and as an added bonus, can be worn off the beach too. I'm talking picture-perfect pieces like this wrap top, above (also cute with high waist white jeans, BTW), and the print robe, below. Considering the hundreds of likes the above post garnered, I'd say this dress is a definite crowd-pleaser!
