I've been wearing this ruffled statement dress on repeat and raking in compliments, but what's most gratifying? I snapped it up for just $28! You can find it !

This summer, sneakers and dresses go together like palm trees and sunshine. This dynamic duo is both practical and stylish--i.e., ideal for running around the city and trekking across far-off lands! However, the key to nailing this look is sporting the right dress. Aim for one that is on the feminine side (to counterbalance the tomboy-ish kicks) and features an easy, relaxed silhouette. (The strapless gem, above, is past-season Reformation and the last dress, below, is by .) I also love these by (the ultimate day-to-night travel dress!), , , , and .
Found: dreamy dresses that slip from the bedroom to the beach! Thanks to some stylish holidaying Brits, I discovered , an up-and-coming line of nightwear-turned-daywear dresses. Signatures include relaxed, nearly sheer silhouettes rendered in the finest, whisper-light cotton, linen and silk. New Yorker Leandra Cohen, below, proves that these dresses can even pound the city pavement. I'm swooning for this cotton mouselline (on sale, last picture), this striped Victorian-inspired , this cotton voile , and this billowy (second snap below).
Though I am not a six-foot-one glamazon, I still want to wear everything in Veronika Heilbrunner's wardrobe. The German model and fashion editor has a penchant for old-school sneakers and designer dresses--a hard-to-pull off combo that she makes look effortless and natural. So, I was delighted to see her headlining Free People's current campaign, employing her distinct style trademarks in a way that a even non-glamazon can execute! These images now make me want to wear every Free People piece she's modeling--old-school sneakers included! I especially love the , above, and the below. You can see more of the campaign .
Typically, soaring summer temps usher in shorter, skin-baring hemlines--but, evidently, not in Paris! Currently, couture fashion show attendees are going long, opting for calf-grazing dresses and skirts, and the look is both cool and elegant. Proof in these pics here! I'm happy to go a la francaise with these (fall-friendly) beauts by , , , , , , , and .
