This belted denim jacket lined with puffer-padding, effectively making it the coolest denim jacket I've seen in maybe... ever. (The faux fur collar and cuffs are removable, too!). More High Street highs: the corduroy jacket, below, this zebra-print statement-making dress, this tweed set, and this amazing (but doesn't look Asos!) dress and this, too!
Most days a week, I'm in two outfits a day: one for working out and the other for work, work, work! The first look has less wiggle room in terms of variety (my exercise gear is 99% flattering black!) but I can play around with what to wear over my leggings and sports bra. Sporty-chic jackets, flashy sweatshirts and zip-up fleeces help, particularly if they work post-workout, like the above reversible jacket, this shearling sweatshirt, this tie-dye pullover, this cropped print hoodie, this camo sweatshirt, and this print puffer.
The cold was real last night in LA. Okay, maybe just for thin-skinned Angelenos, but still... the chill inarguably warranted a jacket. Which brings me to share with you some compelling new options, all warm, wow-worthy, and wallet-friendly (always welcome, right?). Let's start with the cute and cozy sheepskin , above (love the toggle buttons), along with these by , , , , and .
Although my sister and I live in the same city, we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like. That's because of her non-stop work/travel routine, our childrens' school and sports schedules, and her living on the other side of the 405 (i.e., another universe during rush hours!). So, when just one free hour opens up for us to get together, we pounce. Even it means sitting side by side yet working separately on our laptops! Such was the case yesterday, when we set up office at her kitchen counter. During her editing photos and my writing Le Catch, we discussed several outstanding subjects from the significant (our next project!) to the mundane (choosing our birthday cake flavor) and everything in between like this faux leopard trucker jacket--a total find (in my book!) that needed her stamp of approval. She loved it so much--"perfect on its own or under a thick coat," she exclaimed--that she bought one of her own.
