Fall typically ushers in a new pair of must-have jeans. This time around, there's more than one style to choose from, which works for me, because I can never have enough good jeans--especially when I can get them on sale! Interrupting your Sunday to point out some jeans you're going to want to wear Monday through Friday--and maybe even next weekend, too! They're a high-waist, straight-leg pair by Everlane that accentuate your waist and give you longer-looking legs. (At least they do for me!) They're also rendered in an organic cotton that molds perfectly to your body. Plus, they say Los Angeles on the back waistline, which I think is a cool detail. I've been wearing mine with these fun new sneakers and these Celine ballerinas. Topped off with this Helmut Lang blazer, I'm good to go every day of the week!
Of course, I've been wearing white jeans all winter long. However, every summer always ushers in a fresh new pair. This season calls for a roomier and more relaxed silhouette, as pictured here! I prefer a slightly streamlined (read: more flattering) version of this style, such as these by Veronica Beard (which also make my legs look a million miles long!), Goldsign, DL1961, and The Row (OG).
And just like that everyone is now wearing their summer jeans--ones that look fresh and new! And some under $50, no less. Anouk Yve, above, is sporting loose and laid-back Uniqlo, while Chloe Allain, below, goes for a hibiscus- print Zara. Frenchies Leia Sfez sticks to classic Levi's but in an extra-long length; Same for Camille Charriere but in The Attico. Back here in NY and LA, Leandra Cohen suits up in patchwork Closed Official and Jen Azoulay in wide-leg, high-waist J.Crew. I am currently living in these just-bought pair from Madewell!
