As in the shock-and-awe piece that you can wear everyday for eternity! As in the ultimate Valentine's Day gift! (took a swing at it with its brass version that's less chunky and less $.)

It was just a dozen or so of us, celebrating the holidays, champagning and catching up. Also in attendance: festive swaths of sequins (hands-down fave was this sexy , now 30% off!); bright baubles (hands-down fave were my gorgeous charm earrings, above, which P.S., is the type of gift that keeps giving because you can change them up everytime!); and va-va-voom statement sandals from to ! A friend from London recently DM'ed me, wondering if I had any easy-to-layer tissue-thin turtlenecks to recommend. Specifically, she wanted one she could wear under dresses like and . While looking for some good options and finding these by , , , and , I came across creative director rocking not only a versatile knit turtleneck by , but an insanely chic sautoir pearl necklace.
