Mango's jumpsuit situation is not only compelling but convincing me I need to wear nothing else this fall! The one-and-done outfit could not be easier to throw on--and yet it looks totally pulled together. I especially love the belted denim one, above, and the sharp-looking suit-inspired version, below.

This pic convinces me that a jumpsuit is 100% essential this fall (and perhaps forever)! The all-in-one outfit is easy-comfy cool, and this iteration by One Teaspoon is especially amazing, with its sleek and flattering fit. Also incredibly chic: Schutz's thong sandals that will really truly go with everything! More one-and-done wonders worth considering are by The Frankie Shop (a cult hit in NYC!), Alex Mill, Rebecca Taylor, and Madewell.

short order
My battle plan for hot and sticky: this easy, breezy romper! Cut with a slightly oversized fit in lightweight cotton, this one-and-done wonder goes from the beach with these sandals by Havianas or Balenciaga to the city in these chic flats by Margaux.
short and sweet
With my twin sis away in New York, I relished (fraternal) twinning with my good friend Molly Sims at a Malibu party the other day. (See more snaps here!) We both opted for short and sweet (and green paisley): She in a Zimmermann mini and me in a past season Valentino jumpsuit, scooped up recently at The Real Real, and very, very well-received by other revelers. I'm now thinking I could put another one in rotation, like the Reformation, below, topped with a white linen blazer, or this denim Frame or these beauts by Pam & Gela, Thurley, Asos, and Veronica Beard.

This Instagram snap triggered major jumpsuit envy--a one-and-done outfit that's super chic and super easy. I found a cute, almost identical one from Topshop, along with these practical pretties from Red Carter, The Fifth Label, Mara Hoffman, and Low Classic.

one and done
When my sister reads this post, she will call me a hypocrite. For months, I have been making fun of her predilection for a certain bright pink jumpsuit. I even gave it a (derogatory) nickname: pink panther! To me, it looked just so. . . uncool. But when I was in New York, I saw lots of women in jumpsuits and panthers did not come to mind. Perhaps because they weren't pink? Or they were cutely styled over turtlenecks? They were more fitted and therefore flattering? Whatever the reason, I now believe them totally cool. And I love the one-and-done aspect, too. I would like to out-twin my sis in any of these options from Topshop (also here!), Scotch and Soda, Free People and L.F. Markey. I already have this cutie by Rebecca Taylor--and it's now on sale.
Speaking of sales: Nordstrom is currently staging a mega sale, with amazing stuff like like these Steve Madden lace-up booties, this sexy Reformation dress, and this boho-chic Saint Laurent blouse, all at up t0 70% off!

I'm thinking jumpsuits might just be THE answer this summer, giving me all the sexy, comfy, one-step-dressing practicality I could ask for. Some options I'm eyeing: this louche Faithfull striped one, above, this maxi lookalike Free People, this floral Willow & Clay, and this eyelet Talulah.
strong suit
Just snapped up this statement-making jumpsuit that not only works day to night, but is customizable: you can shorten the length, close the cut-out on the bodice, add another arm ruffle or make the strap wider. I chose to keep as is, and can't wait to wear it!
