This Friday comes with a robust end-of-the-week info dump! Think of these affordable finds as the ones that almost got away (read: I didn't have time on Monday-Thursday to post!) Let's start with the alluring peekaboo lace top from Anthropologie, above, that would also work swimmingly over a bathing suit and the elegant sequin Frankie Shop t-shirt that will never, ever go out of style (it's a must, in my opinion). It also comes in a chic mini dress version. I also love the bandana-print River Island, the Alaia-inspired Steve Madden ballerinas (for $79!), the floral En Saison, this embellished Asos, this striking Roxanne Assoulin necklace that's made for layering, and these eyelet Natalie Martin shorts. Happy Weekend!

Havianas is stepping up its signature flip flop with a new distinctly sophisticated, faux leather, slide-like silhouette. The padded strap yields an edgy coolness but the rubber sole maintains a laid-back vibe. Even though they're called the Milan sandal, I think they'll work well everywhere from Manhattan to Malibu!

It's not everyday that the most coveted pair of denim shorts (pictured above) can be had for $25, but it's Amazon Prime Day, which means pretty much everything is possible--and massively on sale. More fantastic finds: these super flattering under-$100 Joe's Jeans, this Apple Watch, this elegant Adriana Degreas statement cover-up and bikini, this excellent everyday Staud dress, these classic white t-shirts from Hanes, and this Bose portable speaker at 30% off.

I have a weird, preternatural tendency to convert all kinds of clothing into beach-ready cover-ups. Chalk it up to my 24/7 proximity to the ocean--or just my penchant for creative styling. Actually, I just think all clothes deserve a day in the sun! Hence my current fondness for lightweight midi skirts such as this (LOVE!) and this that go from sea to street or eyelet dresses (I took the lining out of the H&M, below, to effect sheer and summery). Other versatile wonders: the H&M caftan, below, this stunning Sea, this embroidered Lug Von Siga, this colorful Anna Kosterova, this mini Sundress, this openwork Mango tunic, and this crazy cute floral Asos.

Not all Mondays are created equal. Summer ones are superior, as they go hand in hand with a casually cool uniform that could entail a pair of long, loose-fitting shorts, but paired with elegant shoes to keep things refined, or a one-and-done Merlette denim dress, below. I'd like to kick off mine in the Mango set, below, or in this mini Cos dress, this floral Rodarte, this Moon River maxi, and this eyelet Rails.

Yesterday I wore an And Other Stories embroidered blouse and was complimented everywhere I went from Erewhon to the Brentwood Country Mart to a Zoom call. Now I'm poised for heaps more praise with the lace billowy-sleeve blouse, above. Everyone will think it's vintage Chloe and I might just let them. ;)

The way I see it: investing in a pair of leather flip flops now yields deep-into-fall-wearing returns. The Row's minimal leather sandals set the (OG) standard, elegant in their simplicity, enduring in their versatility, but the ones by Massimo Dutti, above, also fit the bill, along with these from Toteme and J.Crew (on sale for $15!). I intend to wear mine post Labor Day with other soon-to-be fall staples, such as a leather skirt and an oversized blazer.

Summer's only begun, but Kaia Gerber has already moved on to fall!
