Sweater weather in Paris is synonymous with statement knits, and yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing up close this season's latest and greatest, including the tasseled Zimmermann, above (also here), and the Crayon-striped Loewe, below. I also worked one of my own (an old sequin Zara turtleneck). My friend La Double J designer JJ Martin, below, wore her own faux fur trimmed vest. Looks like Katie Holmes just triggered another style tsunami in Paris--an epic follow-up to her Khaite cashmere bra and cardigan Instagram wave in Manhattan a few years ago--with her stirring white leather dress and black blazer, all by Chloe. Fashion Week is now underway in Paris, and attendees are putting on a tres chic show! I'm loving this season's must-have sweater jackets, and it's no wonder: they possess the ease of a knit and the polish of a blazer. What more could I want?? The one, above, is by Celine. And it is beyondo (I mean, the brushed mohair!) I also love these versions by Sold Out NYC, Dorothee Schumacher, Missoni, and J.Crew (the ones below can be found here).

Should you want to fit in with the fashionistas in Milan, all you have to do is throw on a Prada logo ribbed tank top (also here) and pointy-toe Mary Jane pumps and you're good to go!
