Be prepared to see a lot of pointy-toe shoes throughout the streets of New York during Fashion Week. The new cult-favorite steps seamlessly into fall--and yet still works with warm-weather pieces lingering in rotation. The metallic Mango, below, is a riff on the OG Prada, but I am banking on the black version. I'm also fond of these iterations from Sam Edelman, Saint Laurent and Zara.

Leave it to Lauren Santo Domingo to show us how to finesse fall--flawlessly. Her clutch maneuvers: Chloe knee-high boots, above and pointy-toe Prada heels (second pic down), both of which I will be wearing with everything from midi dresses to mini skirts to jeans. Seriously, nothing else! It's been a minute since I attended New York Fashion Week. Even so, I'm planning to put on a riveting show of my own with some recent front row-ready finds, including the trouser-inspired jeans from Goldsign, above, the Derek Lam 10 Crosby striped sweater, the $158 Eva Franco faux leather wrap skirt that I will wear with these Staud sandals and this cult-following white tank top, below. I'd also like to work this pleated mini Acler dress, these Celine jeans, this Prada shirt dress, and this Maison Irem necklace. I'll keep you posted on more of my packing!

This time around, there's more than one style to choose from, which works for me, because I can never have enough good jeans--especially when I can get them on sale!
