get in line
Thursday, February 10
If you're like me and yearn for one of those much-coveted Toteme or Khaite oversized striped knits but are daunted by the price, I recommend stocking up on multiple stripes at Zara, which has almost too many to choose from. My favorites: the rollover turtleneck, above, the button-up knit, below, the crewneck and high-collar zip-neck (which I took to Sun Valley last week). I also love this solid navy side-zip, too!
copenhagen colors
Wednesday, February 9
One way Copenhagen's fashionistas are dealing with dead-of-winter dullness is with bright and sunny pops of color--A.K.A. soon-to-be-everywhere spring elements! I can already see some of these new bold hues--neon orange, electric yellow--on the virtual racks. I'm keen to perk up my current wintry look (and onward) with an outfit-punctuating bag like this emerald green Loewe, this pink vintage Hermes (similar to last pic), or this mini red Clare V. If not the bag, then, for sure, standout shoes, like these by Acne Studios (all the rage in Copenhagen!), JW Anderson, and Gianvito Rossi. Too much? What about just a hit of color with this?

north bound
Tuesday, February 8
It would have been ideal if I had found this North Face sherpa jacket before my trip to Sun Valley last week, but, no matter, because it looks and works equally well off the snowy slopes! P.S. This color block North Face jacket is also incredibly cool!

sun valley
Monday, February 7
I've just returned from a few fun, snow-filled days in Sun Valley. The last time I skied was nearly two years ago (blame Covid), and while my S-turns were a bit of rusty out of the gate, after a few runs, they were back on track. As for my my slope style, I came in hot with the Fendi sweater, above, (found another one for $300, and this punchy-spirited Chinti and Parker is similar in spirit), and my trusty Black Crows pink pants (now on sale)! I also worked these super flattering boot-cut Erin Snow ski pants and cinched fleece jacket. While I played it safe on blue and green slopes, I spotted some fashionable skiers cranking up their color game, wearing printed pants by Perfect Moment, plush graphic jackets from Bogner, Coach, and The North Face, plus a plethora of chic vintage-looking sweaters that double-duty off the slopes like this, this, this and my friend Ali wore this J.Crew; along with one-and-done head-turning ski suits by Cordova, a super stylish all-the-rage ski line designed by a Sun Valley local. I'm eyeing this statement-making pullover and this zip-up sweater! To further polish my game, I want to snap up the detachable Cos hood, below, for a perfect pop on and off the mountain. I'm ready to run for the snowy hills again!
my oh my
Wednesday, February 2
Long gone are the days of waiting in line to get into the Barneys New York Warehouse Sale, elbows sharpened, ready to pounce. Although I miss the thrill of the hunt--and beating others to it--I much prefer today's online shopping sale experience, specifically My Theresa's deeply-stocked, treasure-laden and -oh-so-civilized last call sale, which launched today. Among the scores on offer: Victoria Beckham's cashmere peekaboo sweater, above, these JW Anderson embellished slides that a friend wore and stopped me in my tracks, this Isabel Marant double breasted blazer and epic suede shearling jacket (60% off!), this Khaite cashmere hoodie, this Zimmerman jumpsuit and these Les Tien cashmere sweatpants!
multi-tasking top
Tuesday, February 1
My perpetual beach-on-the-brain mindset means I now evaluate a blouse's worthiness based on its ability to be worn with a bathing suit. While bikinis may not be part of everyone's current wardrobe, I do think we can all appreciate a multi-tasking top, 24/7! One that can also be layered over a Live The Process knit bralette or winter-ready turtleneck. Take a look at my Doen chambray denim blouse, below, atop my Roxy wetsuit. An unlikely--but super cute combo--in my book! Other exceptional versatile options I've discovered include this on-sale Sandro (size up for a slightly oversized fit), this striped R13 and this vivid Victoria Beckham.
doubles match
Monday, January 31
For me, bundling up often means doubling up on sweaters. Customarily, I employ knits in similar if not matching tones--but this pic of Kendall Jenner inspires me to do otherwise! I love the sunshine-bright combo of colors, especially during these bleak winter days. I'd give it a whirl with this and this, this and this, or this and this! And then, to top things off, I'd throw on the dreamy denim Prada jacket, below.
one and done
Friday, January 28
I don't know about you, but my summer countdown has officially begun: there are 143 days till its official start! Not too far off, but still ample time to get in shape for this statement-maker from Cult Gaia! I'd wear it with slouchy boyfriend jeans and an oversized cardigan too!
