This chic German trio is making me re-think my summer skirt game--and score with a long and bold play. What's most appealing about this midi silhouette is its wear-anywhere ability. It can be dressed up or down--i.e., with sky-high heels, simple sandals or even sneakers--plus, it will keep me cool on a hot summer day. No major accessories needed. For swimsuit trends and inspiration, there may be no better place to look than Hawaii. It's the daily year-round uniform, and this summer for Oahu-based Halley Elefante (A.K.A. @thesaltyblonde, pictured above and below), the one-piece is having its moment in the sunlight. What makes this suit stand out are splash-making details we can all appreciate, from cut-outs to one-shoulder silhouettes to lace-up ties (plus extra coverage from the sun!). Summer's all about a relaxed look, and for me, a lightweight blazer is my fast track to effortlessly chic. Throw one on with a pair of jeans and a tee, and I am good to go. With shorts and blouse? Sure, why not? I'm telling you a summer blazer adds the perfect amount of polish--and fashion cred--to any outfit. I like these by Mango, Theory (similar to above and below), Frame, Joie, and Tibi.

My horoscope is predicting not only exotic but spontaneous travel this month. Even though I have no flights booked, it wouldn't hurt to be jet-set prepared, right? Just in case? Random but true: I binge wear white t-shirts. For weeks, I'll wear them incessantly, then, all of a sudden, abstain completely. This summer, my white tees (yes, plural) will be out in full force. To counterbalance a statement skirt or print shorts. To stay comfortable without compromising coolness. And perhaps, most importantly, to make my get-the-kids-to-camp-on-time-routine a bit easier. As we all know finding the right t-shirt is no simple task, as nailing all the details--fit, fabric, sleeve length--can be complex. But I've already hit upon a few ideal ones from Hanes x Karla, Madewell, Bassike (organic, and has a cult following), Veronica Beard, and Vince.

I ushered in cover-up season in some winners at the beach this weekend, including the new eyelet J.Crew, above (which comes in 4 colors, btw), this Icons dress, below, which works wonderfully over a bikini!), this And Other Stories wrap skirt, and this Mes Demoiselles maxi (on sale!).

I bought the above green pleated Asos cutie before it sold out a few months ago and have had it in constant rotation ever since. (I recently wore it in Cabo, unbuttoned over a bikini.) Fortunately, Asos just re-issued the dress in white, which, of course, I snapped up pronto! It's bound to go fast...
