Kirna Zabete is one of my favorite go-to boutiques in New York City, so when they asked me to pick out my summer favorites, I literally jumped at the offer! Check out all the amazing goodies I love--and desperately want!--here (some of them, like,hello, Rosie Assoulin, are on sale!).

I'm more of a bikini girl than a one-piece fan, but this season I'm very much inclined to slip into the very sexy one-piece swimsuits on offer. They're cut to flatter and reveal more skin and yet they remain practical as always when I'm, say, surfing or seaside dining! It's all a matter of finding the most complimentary suit and... I have! Several, in fact, including the one-shoulder Araks (also here), above, the plunging Beach Riot (below), this cut-out Marysia, this knotted Lisa Marie Fernandez, this laced-up Ellejay, this striped Norma Kamali, and this rope-trimmed Blue Life.

This summer I'm sidelining my shorts and playing up my mini skirts for a change. Wearing a skirt feels fresher and more feminine, and this season's iterations are extra cool, rendered in bright hues and punchy prints. I especially dig these minis from March11 (on sale!), Miguelina, Dodo Bar Or (my friend used this as a cover-up in St. Barths), Veronica Beard, and Topshop.

My sis recently invested in these Dior slingbacks--and getting her money's worth! She's been running around in them all over the place, from San Francisco to New York to London and back! I'm tempted to follow in her footsteps as they will no doubt work overtime this autumn too!

Unlike most people, I like to bust out my blacks during the summer--when they're least expected! After all, what's more flattering than a black swimsuit! (Case in point: this, this and this!) For me, an LBD enhances my sun-kissed skin, however ,it must be feather-light and loose-fitting.

Banana Republic's off-the-shoulder jumpsuit will resolve those dreaded pre-party what-am-I-going-to-wear conundrums in one simple step. Plus, it's ideal for summer vacations, able to go sight-seeing, shopping to sipping sunset cocktails without skipping a beat!

For me, warm weather and white cotton blouses go hand in hand. They're light, airy and heat-proof, plus ultra versatile: they go with pretty much everything from bikinis to structured trousers. So, of course, this summer calls for a few more! I found these lovelies from Zadig & Voltaire, Rouje (pictured above), A.P.C (on sale, see note below!), Love Sam and Club Monaco. Summer hasn't officially arrived yet but its hottest bag is already breezing about. Introducing Staud's macrame and leather bucket bag, which seamlessly goes from the beach to city streets.
