Everyone knows today is Amazon Prime Day, and, holy moly, there is a staggering assortment from fashion to tech on sale. However, in case you're not aware, Shopbop is also offering 25% off today and tomorrow featuring a healthy edit of all the things we wear day in and day out, like the unerringly chic Anine Bing blazer, above, Adina Reyter's pave diamond bead necklace (I seriously never take mine off!), Levi's 501 jeans, and Schutz knee-high black boots! Might as well buy these staples for less!

fringe fascination
Monday, October 7
My fascination with fringe is peaking, manifest in my Substack hot off the press (and in the featured Free People, above, plus this one already poised to go in my closet)! This morning, no joke, I just added more: the fringed H&M moccasins, below (shhhh, don't tell anyone that you can only buy them in the H&M app right now!), and the extra long, outfit-punctuating Banana Republic scarf, which also comes in highly-tempting red!

to the max
Friday, October 4
We've barely made a dent into October and Halloween is already knocking at our doors--and December-worthy coats are making their early debut. Though I'm more than happy to skip the usual cobwebbing of my front lawn, I'm fully on board with layering up in some fresh new winter gear. These extra long coats by Pixie Market, Favorite Daughter, Lioness ($139!), Harris Wharf London and Baum und Pferdgarten (last pic) look decadent and different yet are easy to pull off.
french denim
Thursday, October 3
Leave it to the French to reinvent the iconic American jean jacket with their signature flair. They elevate denim by layering it under statement Sacai fringe jacket and under padded boucle, below. I'm thinking I'll take the pre-made American approach to French chic with these ooh-la-la ready to wear options from Ayr, Blaze Milano, Lioness and The Great!

tied together
Wednesday, October 2
If you asked my houseguest, my Honolulu-based friend Kate, what she enjoys about staying with me, she might mention the soft early morning light in her bedroom, the close proximity to the ocean and hiking trails--or perhaps the unlimited access to all the new tie-neck tops in my closet! I loaded up this season, in tandem with stylish friends in Paris, pictured here, (whose closets I'd like to raid)! Join the stylish house party with these options from Mango, Loewe (denim version in last pic), Victoria Beckham (on sale), GAP, and J.Crew.
sell outs
Wednesday, October 2
Let the record show that I shared this $178 faux suede Anthropologie coat for you before it sold out! (P.S. It's already gone across the pond.) Plus: Alex Mill's just-launched sweater-slash-jacket (with a detachable scarf!), the fringed Mango coat and asymmetric-buttoned sweater, and the studded Sandro (read: a dupe of the $8300 Gucci!) that I've long been coveting is finally in. You're welcome!
blues-y
Tuesday, October 1
These pics just re-booted my denim operating system--in fact, they've already done so (see my Instagram denim-on-denim look yesterday). I'll be factoring in these new features: a wide belt to cinch a blazer, instantly feminizing a pair jeans, such as above, a mustard yellow trench (like this vintage Etsy or Banana Republic) to add some zing, and going for it head-to-toe with a perfect shirt-meets-jean jacket like these by AGOLDE and Assk NY.
