Vacation has a way of making me suspicious of my regular life. Why, exactly, am I not waking up and swimming every day? Why does cooking feel obligatory at home but irresistible when it involves the possibility of an aubergine or courgette? Somewhere between the sunlight, the salt water, and the daily promise of stumbling upon something unexpected, I become a markedly improved version of myself. More energetic. More present. The kind of person who happily walks an extra mile just to see what's around the next bend. I actually believe that's the real source of a vacation glow: a temporary lifestyle upgrade. That said, I am not above stacking the deck in my favor. For Corsica, I packed a handful of shimmery bikini baubles from —jewelry that somehow stayed put through swimming, boating, sunscreen applications, heat waves, and day-to-night outfit changes. The charms and pendants are cheerful in the best way. Punctuating jolts of color and whimsy that feel like vacation itself! Below, the pieces that earned their sea legs: a large , a and (you know how much I love to wear my heart on my sleeve/neck/ears!), a l, , a , a very , plus a threaded on a . More on my trip to Corisca coming this weekend in a big, sparkly Substack!
