The Fall 2026 Menswear show in Milan earlier this week prompted one of those moments where I immediately started mentally rearranging what I already own to capture the mood without handing over major cash money. The first thing that got me were the button downs shirts, their elongated cuffs peeking out from beneath knits and jackets. It was polished and slightly undone at the same time, proof that a traditional piece can feel new with the smallest shift in proportion. What I especially loved was how rooted everything felt in my everyday wardrobe. Nothing required a complete personality (or gender!) transplant. It was more about reminding us that classics still have plenty to say if you play with palette and styling.
