Confession: my holiday style strategy this year involves… doing less. Much less. As in one-and-done dressing—the kind where a single, standout piece does all the heavy lifting while I glide into the party looking like I tried (I didn’t). Because here’s the truth: the calendar is already packed and it's not even Thanksgiving yet, my energy is limited, and I refuse to spend 45 minutes negotiating with a sequin skirt that has its own agenda. My lackadaisical approach is surprisingly liberating. Instead of assembling a head-to-toe masterpiece, I just slip on one spectacular thing and let it do its thing. So yes, call it strategic minimalism or just seasonal survival. Either way, it's working for me, and I’ll be wearing the following rely-on-me pieces on repeat, merrily (and effortlessly) all season long: Heaven Mayhem's statement necklace, Sea's flowy sheer silk top and bow-trimmed pajama top (can you believe the cuteness?), The Reformation lace skirt and fancy pants, Tanya Taylor's feather-trimmed blouse and the big-time Prada, last pic. Above: Boden's fur-tipped coat (remove the fur collar and wear the coat indoors, duster style!)
