Post-game, the city practically levitated. People hung out apartment windows. Entire groups formed on random street corners simply to scream. Car horns became a form of communication. And grown adults performed increasingly kooky good-luck rituals to make it all happen. Case in point: after Monday's loss, Ben Stiller reportedly retired an unlucky Knicks Finals T-shirt and started fresh for Game 3. Which, frankly, feels like exactly the level of fashion accountability we should all be embracing. For my part, I wore my new Valentino blouse yesterday. I too feel it—in my lace-trimmed shorts, below, and like my legs can survive another 10,000-step day. I may even be able to snag ’s cute new before they sell out, below, as well these in every color (for $20!), . Plus: 's latest arrivals, where the cost-per-compliment ratio is looking exceptionally strong. In short: New York believes again. And so, unfortunately for my credit card, so do I.
