Whenever Coco comes to LA for work, she moves into my guest room and into my closet with equal ease, emerging in pieces I had nearly forgotten I owned. She is frequently pulling something off a hanger and asking, "Why aren't you wearing this?" or reminding me that half my wardrobe deserves a far more interesting life than hanging quietly in a closet. She happens to be right. One of the ongoing ironies of my job is that I am fortunate enough to discover and receive beautiful things, yet I don't always have enough places to wear them, photograph them, or properly bring them to life. We're resurrecting it—not simply as a joint place to feature what's on our radar, but as a platform to show pieces in a way that feels editorial, visual, inspiring, and a little more transportive. Yes, there will be things to shop. But that's not really the point. The internet has become remarkably good at selling us all things.
