Copenhagen currently feels more like fall, with its 50-degree temps and gusty rain squalls--and the city looks like it too, with cold weather-suitable coats, leather jackets and layered trenches out in full fashion-week force. Also ubiquitous: low-slung, loose-fitting, wide-leg white jeans. The unexpected summer carry-over is like a bright ray of sunshine in next-season's lineup, striking in its versatility and fresh-looking fit. Some solid options to defy the chill and gloom come from AGOLDE, Levi's, Slvrlake, Citizens of Humanity, and The Row.
It's all about a pointy-toe pump this fall, so I bought these (baby) kitten heels to kick up everything from jeans to skirts. They're everyday-running-around compatible and come in a variety of colors, but the French Burgundy, above, beams with sleek Khaite vibes.

Summer typically has me giving my jeans some much-deserved time off, but Lisbon-based Vicky Montanari is inspiring me to employ new atypical styles. Her current rotation spans from patchwork to pinstriped to studded to cuffed, all exuding warm-weather whimsy. I especially love her studded boyfriend jeans by Re/Done (immediately below) along with these Nili Lotan striped jeans, and this patchwork pair. Also desirable: this Agolde cargoes. London-based Michelle Driscoll turned me on to my new summer jeans by Rails. I love how distinctly different they are from the white jeans already in my closet, thanks to the whimsical patchwork and cropped hem. They'd look cute with boots and a blazer too, come next winter!
