I've been running around New York the past 24 hours trying to get my summer legs back. Admittedly, mine are a bit wobbly at the moment, but between full-blown Knicks Fever and family time with my niece and nephew, I've logged enough city blocks to start collecting notes. The street style is still very much speaking fluent '90s: , , (, above, , below but sold out), (OMG, !) and on nearly everyone. And shorts: , silk , , , . New York seems fully committed to the idea that if it's above 75 degrees, pants are optional. As always, the best NYC style feels less about making a statement and more about making it look as though you have somewhere far more interesting to be.
